Takes place in modern day, with flashback (via Marten's research) to Historical mentions throughout the last Century (WWII, Cold War, Vietnam, Iran Hostage Crisis, Gulf Wars I & II, etc.), as well as Afghanistan.

Marten (lead) is a Detroit Newspaperman with designs on a better Life in a more Rural area; so-as to better protect his Wife and 3 daughters. Marten, in pursuit of extending his Career, decides to write a book on Terrorism - which visits Chicago IL, Laughlin NV, Laughlin NV, NYC NY with virtual stops/visits of Toronto Ontario Canada, London England, Madrid Spain, and Tokyo Japan.

Though, ScreenWriting might rework to Chicago IL as main City to more easily work in important Naperville IL chapter/characters I see as instrumental to the Story (and warning, COMING SOON TO A CITY NEAR YOU (can happen anywhere)) and potentially even work Marten and Nic respond to that scene.
